Oriental Dreamer

After months of putting it off, I finally posted my first look on www.Lookbook.nu! YAY! :D I'm actually quite proud of myself for creating something unique and personal to me however small, and then sharing it with the world. (God, you'd think I just achieved something huge.... Ehhhh no. :P) Anyways, this oriental style kimono I'm sporting from Awear, is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. It instantly creates a relaxed, yet sophisticated vibe and makes a simple outfit look put together without even trying. I especially love the detailed, delicate floral print in warm tones, which is a serious nod to this Summer's oriental trend. Ooh and if you like it you can 'HYPE' my look using the button down below. Or even 'Fan' me on lookbook, http://lookbook.nu/spiralsofstyle. If you want. No pressure.
But if you do, I will love you forever.... :P

Asos Sunglasses Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

I love sunglasses. The air of mystery. The effortlessly cool vibe they create. Plus they're great for days when your eyes are looking a bit worse for wear! I think a pair of sunglasses really portray a person's personality and individual style in one simple accessory, and they don'd get any more unique than the hundreds available on Asos.com for Spring/Summer 2013. I'm absolutely OBSESSED with Asos and have been for a while now, but I'm going to stop myself there because I'll be here for hours praising them. I should work for them, I'm a great promoter for things I love......I have a problem....Honestly.

Any way.... Here are my favourite pairs from their new collection!

The start of something big?

I better introduce introduce myself, it would be rude to just jump straight into rambling on about all things fashion and style related without so much as giving you my name. It's Ciara. I'm a student from Ireland who's friends are sick of her blabbering on about fashion/designers/style/personal expression/art/trends/colour/texture/fabric/ect.ect...

So, i've decided to give them a break and start a blog after about a year of putting it off. I kept thinking 'What would happen if I just went for it?' Even if no one reads it, so be it. I gave it a go.

I'm probably just talking to myself. Oh well!
But, as my dad says 'It's better to have followed your passion, then to spend your life wondering what could have been, if you had been brave enough to try.'
